5K Run Steps to Freedom

Accurate scenic 5k at Hawk Island.  Dogs on leash are welcome to join in the fun too! First place pooch will receive a medal and a $25 gift card to Pruess Pet.

Run/Walk starts at 10:00 am.

Packet pickup will begin on race day morning at 8:30 am.

Pricing: $25 until The day of race. $30 day of race.  Entry fee includes performance dry wicking antimicrobial T-shirt with registrations by May 1st. T-shirts available as supplies last after May 1st.

Awards: $100 Visa gift cards  to overall man & woman Winner  and a race medal to the top 3 places in age group.

Age Groups: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+

Proceeds will go to The House of Promise, an organization dedicated to providing a home in the Lansing area that will support women who are recovering from severe sexual abuse and sex trafficking. 

The race will be professionally timed by the Michigan Running Foundation. Results will be available live during the race and afterwards on this website.
