Kristy’s Story: From Healing to Independence
At the heart of this year’s event is Kristy, a THOP graduate whose post-program journey reflects what transformation truly looks like.
When Kristy arrived, she was navigating the aftermath of trauma and rebuilding her sense of safety and trust. At THOP she found the structure and support necessary to heal. She gained the confidence and practical tools to build her future, especially the ability to set healthy boundaries and establish stable relationships.
Today, Kristy is financially independent and an active, contributing member of society. She serves as a Program Specialist at a local community center, securing funding for essential human services programs that support families in need. She has also put her naturopathy training to work by launching Earthsoul Living, Kristy’s very own online wellness business of small-batch tea blends and natural products that reflect her passion for holistic well-being.
Kristy’s success is a direct reflection of what comprehensive survivor support makes possible: economic stability, meaningful employment, and long-term community impact.
